Successful Engagement

A clear understanding of the client organisation, its business needs and the position to be filled are the essential first step in any Client engagement.

From this we can:

  • Accept assignments that we are confident in delivering against.
  • Provide details and clarity of fees and timescales.
  • Agree any “off-limits” restrictions or other related policies that may affect the search process.
  • Agree how the organisation and it’s role will be marketed.
  • Advise on when advertising is required by law or is a recommended strategy for the assignment.
  • Operate effectively in identifying potential candidates.

Performance

Service with integrity and professionalism underpins how we deliver to our clients.

We display this by:

  • Following agreed actions with a Client on deadline and within the scope of the assignment.
  • Develop with a Client the comprehensive job description for each assignment and provide this to candidates before they are presented to the Client.
  • Thoroughly evaluate potential Candidates before introduction to a Client. Utilise agreed methods to identify only the most suitable and present a shortlist with interview notes for consideration.
  • Agree and undertake what background checks need to be undertaken, and what specific information is required.
  • Consider all information provided by our Clients as confidential unless given specific leave to make available to individuals outside of The Synergy Group.

Candidate Process

Once assigned to a Search Process we must engage with Candidates and develop a relationship with them. This must be based on honest and transparent communication following these principles:

  • Explain the relationships that exist between the ourselves and a Client, and ensuring the Candidate is aware of their responsibilities on confidentiality and honesty.
  • Provide accurate and relevant information to the Candidate about the role, the culture and the objectives of a Client.
  • Demonstrate our best efforts to ensure that Candidate information is honest and accurate. Communicate this in an open and honest manner to our Clients.
  • Only provide an individual’s confidential resume or other confidential data with the individual’s prior consent and only in relation to the assignment.
  • Not engage in communication with a Candidate in regard to alternative roles whilst still engaged by a Client.
