Free PRTL Training Course in Leeds
The Synergy Group are running another free training day for Social Workers at our Leeds office.
After running a number of successful free PRTL training days last year, The Synergy Group’s Social Care team in Leeds are pleased to announce their next training event. The course is aimed at Social Care staff working with children and young people.
Title: Attachment and Resilience
When: Saturday 3rd July 2010 frpm 10am – 3pm
Where: Synergy’s Leeds office, Floor 1, Riverside Studios, Whitehall Waterfront, 2 Riverside Way, Leeds, LS1 4EH
The Social Workers who attend the course will learn how to recognise and assess patterns of attachment between children and their carers/parents and plan interventions.
Learning Objectives
- Recognising signs of secure attachment
- Recognising signs of insecure attachment and the resultant psychological and behavioural difficulties
- Assess the quality of the attachment relationship between parent/carer and child
- Identify interventions for child, parent/carer and wider resources that can support the child’s attachment network
