The Synergy Group is working with Derwentside Homes to recruit an Equality and Diversity Officer.
Equality & Diversity Officer
£24,407 – £26,022 Per Annum
- You will be responsible for developing, promoting and implementing Derwentside Homes’ commitment to equality diversity, cultural awareness and equal access to services.
- You will help ensure that equality and diversity lies at the heart of all our business activities by championing and embedding best practice, in this area, throughout the Company.
- Your key duties will include the development, implementation and monitoring of the Company’s Equality and Diversity Strategy and associated policies, schemes, and codes of practice in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, provision of advice on equality and diversity matters and the development and delivery of in-house training to both staff and customers.
You will ideally be educated to degree level and will have an in-depth knowledge of equality and diversity concepts, legislation and best practice. You will also have a proven track record in promoting equality and diversity in service delivery and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
