Careers in Recruitment at Synergy

We recruit throughout the year at our London and Leeds offices. If you are looking for a career in recruitment we have a range of positions available, some of which are summarised below: 

Recruitment Consultant

We welcome Consultants with previous relevant industry recruitment experience (normally 12 months and above). You will work as part of a team and be responsible for either a contract or permanent desk, developing a candidate and client portfolio. Your role will include interviewing candidates, conducting client meetings and working in partnership with clients to solve their staffing needs.

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Senior Consultants normally have at least 18-24 months proven experience and have specialist skills and knowledge within their chosen sector(s). You are likely to have responsibility for key client relationships and in some cases be a valuable mentor to less experienced staff.

Principal Consultant

As a Principal Consultant, you will have forged a successful number of years experience and be a key member of the recruitment sales team. Principal Consultants are individuals who either prefer to concentrate on the sales side of the business without management responsibilities, or are working their way to a Team Manager role. 

Management Opportunities

We believe that as a Manager you should be allowed to develop strategy, lead your team to success and enhance your employee’s potential and career prospects. You will be responsible for all aspects of people, business and operational management. Managers will receive regular internal and external training to increase their skills. Positions also exist at Senior Management and Directorship level.

Support Positions

We have a number of Support roles that are vital to the successful running of the business. Recruitment Assistants support the team with administration, eligibility checks, CV formatting, placing adverts, database management and other important tasks. It is also a great starting point to advance your career in recruitment.
