Raising money, socialising and building teams
Many of our social events are organised around our corporate social responsibility programmes. We have a very active social calendar, with many fundraising events to support our chosen charities. Of course, this helps us, too – it helps our people to socialise and increases team-building – so, everyone wins.
Working hard for charitable causes
Synergy places a great deal of emphasis on supporting its chosen charities. These change each year, and are always ones that are chosen by our own staff. We try to work with charities which reflect the size of our own business – we prefer to make a meaningful difference to a smaller, niche cause than make what would be a relatively small donation to a major charity. We have frequent fundraising events and encourage all staff to participate if they wish – and, if they want to introduce us to a new charity, then we encourage that too.
