      <title>Marine Hull Technician/Client Service Advisor City of London IS2013</title>
      <description>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marine Hull Technician / Client Service Advisor within a prestigious Lloyd's broking house.  The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high quality and efficient service within the marine hull/offshore department to clients, provide efficient delivery of all transactional service activities, provide full administrative and operational support to the client team and proactively assist in the day to day running of the clients risks and insurance programmes and liaising with the offshore team and ensure that output from outsourced activities achieves the required quality levels.  The individual will need to maintain and monitor renewal lists in conjunction with client managers and agree timetables for renewal slip production, produce slips on new and renewal business ensuring expiring endorsements and/or amendments are incorporated; insurer amendments are updated; and that all slips conform to Market Reform Contract standards. The individual will also need to monitor, quality check, obtain sign-off from authorised signatories and issue client documentation and invoices within contract certainty and divisional time frames and to monitor compliance with policy warranties for all accounts within portfolio. Prepare tax schedules for individual accounts and ensure all changes to tax rates/requirements are updated on the central tax schedule templates.  The individual will need to support usage of Ri3k/e-soc's on all in-scope placements to maximise usage of electronic placing including publishing slips and completing the placement process within Ri3k/e-socs online where required and provide administrative support to the client managers to ensure: all administrative and compliance requirements are met; relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals; and client service is delivered to agreed standards.  Other duties would include providing support to the team leader in monitoring and reporting team revenues against budget; maintain team diary to ensure warranties, service level agreements, key dates etc are monitored and actioned as necessary.  A sound knowledge of both offshore and marine hull technical knowledge is essential for this role.</description>

      <title>Marine Claims Insurance Client Manager City of London IS2012</title>
      <description>An exciting opportunity has arisen within a prestigious Lloyd's broking house that is looking for a Marine Claims Insurance Client Manager. The candidate will assist the marine claims director with the day to day running of a portfolio of large marine hull, P&amp;I and liability claims. 

As a Client Manager the key responsibilities would include - Receiving/sending correspondence relative to the specified portfolio of business, reviewing correspondence, liaising with colleagues as appropriate to determine necessary actions, submitting/preparing new claims and ongoing correspondence for submission to Marine underwriters and thereafter pursue settlement consideration.  Collating of claims statistics and
maintenance of reports is essential.  Account maintenance is of paramount importance, establishing and maintaining files, ensuring all information is accurate, complete and up-to-date and distributing information to appropriate individuals when required.  The individual will need to work with both claims and placing brokers on an individual account or a portfolio of accounts to ensure that relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals and required actions are taken to meet clients' needs.  The individual would also need to adhere to all compliance regulations, adhering to company policies and procedures, FSA requirements and business processes, reporting upwards any potential issues, E&amp;O reporting and promoting awareness as appropriate, actively supporting the development of market and practice changes (eg ECF).
 
The individual would ideally be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and be a chartered member of CII. An individual with strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and presentation skills, strong business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are all necessary criteria. A minimum of 5 years experience handling marine claims is required for this role. </description>
